Indian Police Service Indian government ki 3 services mein se ek hai. Iska gathan 1948 mein yaani freedom ke ek saal baad hua tha. IPS officers ka selection UPSC ke zariye hota hai aur ye exam every year hota hai.
General Category ke student ko iss exam ko pass karne ke liye 4 attempts milte hai agar aap phir bhi selcect nahi hote hai to aapko exam dene nahi diya jata hai. OBC students ko 7 attempts karne ki chut hai aur SC/ST ko unlimited.

Agar aap male ho to 165CM hight and Female hai to 150CM hona zaoori hai. SC/ST students and Gorkhas, Assamese, Garhwalis ko kuch zyada chut milti hai. Chest 80CM for men and 79CM for female requirement hai
